I'd like help in adapting the H-C for pen-and-paper RPGs, specifically Pathfinder, a Dungeons & Dragons clone, and thus be one step closer to exposing MBT to all who would be interested. Right now, I'd like everyone's help in analyzing some scripts and parts and how they possibly interact with the body to do what they're intending to do.
Currently I'm looking at the parts of Cathaar's Treacle, and I'm stuck on Xthylistic Curd: dry bone marrow, ground bone and sea-monster slime.
From my short research on nutritional/medicinal value of bone marrow and ground bone, bone marrow is high in calories, fat and other dense nutrients. Ground bone is very helpful in regrowing lost bone from degeneration.
From what I gather, Xthylistic Curd is designed to counter the metabolism's attacks on its own body while trying to destroy the implanted organ: ground bone regenerates bone density lost from the metabolism's indirect attacks while marrow keeps the hypermetabolism from eating the person away (known as "Lahzarine Ravage"). What do you think?
